How To Systematise Your Customer Growth

Life is rapidly picking up pace again with small social outings, traffic and school and some of us back in our office space. It feels like there is general optimism in the air.

Today, I want to send you a short article on the importance of structure in your business. And what better time than now to revisit systems and structure in your business. The economic environment has changed and the companies that adapt to it the quickest will continue to prosper.

You see, the structure is what enables your company to grow beyond you and the founding team.

It's what gives you consistency and scalability in service delivery and customer success. It enables you to become efficient. Especially now with sales revenues down, finding new efficiencies is a great way to free up time and resources.

When you only have manual processes you aren't prepared to scale. You're limited to working with the number of customers/orders/projects you can manually onboard and manage. This sets up a bottleneck that prevents growth.

Seriously - the better the structure, the bigger your business can scale.

The first thing to tackle is the Customer Delivery System.

Why? It's your company's value system and lifeblood. It is the system that maps out your prospects journey to becoming a loyal, long term customer. From becoming aware of your solution, getting ready to buy and turning into a champion for your brand.

It's your customers' experiences and what will determine if they will be a happy, refer others and become your testimonials.

Ash Maurya calls this a customer factory. A factory because you now measure input and throughput... And what you can measure, you can tweak and optimise.

It's one of the most important systems you will establish in your business and it will be like fuel to fire when you get it right.

Once you've got the initial structure of it laid out, you can implement automation tools to free up time and establish a quality workflow. This is where you nurture your leads and prospects until they become customers.

Think about your current structure - will it allow you to scale?

Yes? That's great! I'd love to hear about it.

No? Sometimes it’s about looking at your business with a new perspective.
